Highlights

This post is going to be a lot of hodgepodge, just so you're aware.

First, one of my children that I favor was visibly upset in my class last Thursday and just sat there near tears for my entire class. My coteacher told me that she was having problems with a friend, which was not helped by the fact that my activity including listening to the song, You've Got A Friend In Me. Repeatedly. But then Friday she squealed when she say me down the hall and ran towards me full force. I thought she was going for a high five, but she went for my waist. I'm just glad she is feeling better.

Plans for the barbeque/giant sleepover are going full swing and I am getting more excited each day. Not too much longer now! I really am looking forward to a bunch of my friends all together, especially for a morning breakfast shared together.

Today I met a ladyboy who owns a salon and I am getting a haircut on Monday after school. And then next week we are having dinner and shopping together (window shopping for me). I have a new friend :-)

One bit of sad news, one of my farang friends is moving to Lampang. Last night was his going away party. The god thing though is that he will be back down for the barbeque next weekend and then he will come back many weekends to tutor some of his private students here. But still, it is sad.

Today I caught up on a lot of sleep (though I find that funny because I am writing that after midnight here). Probably should not have had that coffee before dinner, though I doubt that is what is keeping me up.

This next week is English camp so I am only teaching Monday and Tuesday at the school, which should be relaxing enough. And one of my American friends is going with me now so the fun can be shared.

Okay well those are the highlights of the past 2 days. Tomorrow is a lazy day with a trip to Lotus (sorta/kinda/almost but jot really a Walmart) and a yellow curry dinner. I had best get caught up on sleep now because there is not going to be a lot of that this week and even less next weekend. 55
