Well I am awake much to early, but maybe that is due to the fact that I am really excited for today and tomorrow. Today is a rehearsal day, and a hardcore one at that. Tomorrow I am singing at the bar and this time I invited my friends. One of them also does professional photography and guess what he is going to be doing? Yep. So pictures this time. We are trying to double our set, so as to make it an hour long, but we only have this one night of practice. Who knows how things will go? Last night I was rehearsing by myself but stopped after only a brief while so I didn't sound like a frog. I had dinner with a friend and spend 4 hours talking therefore my voice was too shot for singing.
Today some of my older kiddies put on their short fairy tales performances. I am super excited to watch this, even though I know one of them is going to be pretty bad. I am going to try and record them as well :-) Then, in my poise class they are going to learn table setting today. I am curious to see what their reaction will be.
So smalls things of note: I have learned to not step on leaves if you can help it. Because sometimes it isn't a leaf, but rather a toad. I have also put on my to do list "how to properly kill a man-eating centipede/millipede." There are some here that have digestive enzymes that can kill you in 10 minutes to 3 hours just by biting you and they are apparently very hardy. Just another thing to learn lol. And finally, I said something the other day that made my friends double over and snicker like a child for about 15 minutes. He wouldn't tell me what was so funny but I will told you what he told me. Read this sentence (which is what I said aloud). "I like girls with spunk." Now google what spunk means to the British. I will never be able to say that word the same again. And now, of course, it is a running joke with all of my English friends.
Well now that I have written all of this, it is finally when I would normally wake up, so I need to get ready for work. And I get to sing Humpty Dumpty today. For only 2 hours. Lol.
