Back to the Grind

Well I am back at school. Tuesdays are always a little rough since I have five classes in row in afternoon. I hope my classes go well and I survive them all. I got more sleep last night than I have in many days. Having friends around guarantees little sleep lol. I did not get a chance to do laundry or dishes due to friends. Daaarrn. But I did get a chance to clean up the messes made from the weekend. Ahhhh good times.

Last night I met a farang's adopted Thai mother and her and her husband have decided that I am their daughter. I am now part of so many families. It was Mother's Day after all yesterday so they had to give a malai in respect and admiration. Still, dinner is always fun and I got even more famous, never to be forgotten quotes. And I got my first hug from a Thai person. I almost cried. Not sure if my American is rubbing off on them or they were just that moved.

Well supposing I live through the next six hours teaching hundreds of energetic Thai students, tonight is a practice rehearsal. We will pick the songs that we sing either tomorrow or Thursday. I am looking forward to it. I am also anticipating laughing my butt of when my farang friend sings a One Direction song. It was a special request and I am really going to enjoy watching this. I am getting the beginning jitters for the performance, as per usual but I am looking forward to having fun and knowing that I at least know all the words in English. Yes, yes, I will let you know how it goes.

So yep, just living life. Singing, laughing, never having enough time to sleep. And I just had a friend call me just to check up on me. Like I said, I am getting spoiled with all this sweetness. And they also told me to watch out for the mudslides in Lampang. That is something new. Let's hope that is an experience I don't get to have. Okay countdown from 45 minutes then I have to be prepared to teach these children!
