It is a stomp your feet kind of day...

I mean it. I actually stomped my feet today. I am getting pretty good at accepting fluidity in my life. But turn every part of my day upside-down in a short time span and well...it is going to frustrate me to death. Changes to my school schedule, to the number of classes, to everything involving the trip to Chiang Rai and finally trying to make reservations in Chiang Rai. Good grief! It was the reservations that finally broke me and had me stomping my feet all the way from my office to my 8 year olds (pause for irony). The phone kept cutting off the call and it took no less than 6 phone calls to get a 4 day reservation. And then they ended up calling another teacher for confirmation! Aaaaarrrrrrggggg! And I am a little off my game this week because I left my meds in Sukhothai. Don't worry, I will get them back today. But for the past two days I have slept much better, thank goodness!
So now some teachers will come in tonight to Uttaradit and we will have dinner at Smile and one of my other friends is joining as well. Then tomorrow we shall be off to Chiang Rai. We will go to the mirror temple and some national parks and an adventure park. And I WILL have a massage! I have not gotten one since my first week here and with hundreds of students a day I need some thorough relaxation before my back stays a tight mass for all time. I know I keep saying I will and it never happens but I sooooo mean it this time!
In just under half an hour I can go home and.....well I guess I will clean for my friends. Really it just means putting away the laundry that is drying everywhere around my apartment. I canceled my soccer practice today because I am not feeling well enough for it, but laying in my bed should be fantastic. And if I pray to the Internet Gods enough I can have Pandora or Netflix.  And the teacher's son just came in. "Sewatdee krap," "Sewatdee krap," "Sewatdee krap," "Heellllllloooooo!" " Sewatdee krap." Hilarious. And final report: so my tiny Casanova finally made a move on one of the adorable girls in my class. And he really lives up to his name because boy is he smooth. The girl liked it because she was blushing and smiling. The whole thing was soooo cute and yet I'm like, wait! Aren't you guys ten? Oh boy. *shakes head*
Well that is all I have for you. Not sure how the internet will be in the next few days so if you don't hear from me in five days just assume I am having a blast or at least adding something to the Thailand adventure list. :-)

So I had to make an update: I now have a Thai white knight. He is a teacher at my school and the one designated to drive the school truck. Every time the sky opens up out of thin air and threatens to drown me on my way home from school he shows up in the school car headed the right direction. And I mean every time. I rather like him. Though he thinks I speak waaaaay more Thai than I do. That is all lol.
