So no, I have not been in the city overnight and there is already too much to write. Got here in the morning and wrote the previous post. Then 8 more TTC people from other cities showed up and we got the party started. We visited a market, ate Mexican food, drank at a lady bar, more shopping, visited China Town and I am about to go to my fist Muay Thai fight. I never have been one to care for watching people beat each other up, but this is supposed to be a highly skilled martial arts fight and well, I should experience it once, right? And do not worry, there is one TTC male going for every female so we are being mindful about safety.
I bought some cute Geisha pants so I have more clothes to wear. I have started to think about presents to get people and I have no idea how I am supposed to decide. I guess I will know when the item is right. Eating Mexican was great, though the queso was a Thai interpretation and the chips are very different. Considerably thicker. Right now I am sitting at our awesome hostel. We are chilling on blankets and pillows on a tile deck, with a fan blowing on us and tons of geckos hanging out on the roof. I just took a baby wipe shower, which was great. There was no point showering before a fight, but it was veeeery hot today. And this city is full of farang! It is really crowded too and there is so much to do. We almost did the tiger house today but we could only get 20 min with the tigers. Maybe another time or in Bangkok but that is still totally happening.
Now, for those of you missing me back home, know I think of you often. There are many times each day when I go, Oh! I would love to share this experience with ___________ or This person would find this so great. I love you guys <3
