So today is sure to be interesting. I started off the morning at 5am getting a motorcycle taxi ride to the bus station. It was amazing. You know I could really get used to motorcycles, and this morning was awesome because there was little traffic, it was cool outside and it was beautiful. And I have gotten permission to touch the guy in front of me since it is "for safety." So now I am allowed to put one hand on the shoulder of the man driving. Lol.
Last night was super fun. My fellow teachers in Sohothai came in last night and we had an awesome dinner of French fries, a chocolate waffle, chicken nuggets and ice cream. Dessert was wine coolers. Though wine coolers here are a little different. I had a mojito cooler that tasted like straight up lime with alcohol, and the classic wine cooler was more like red wine with some sparkling water. Then we stayed up until after midnight talking.
Well right now we are sitting in a coffee shop in Chiang Mai. I cannot get internet because my tablet is not a Mac. -.- Oh, but here for 9 baht (so like 30 cents) you can get an ice cream cone from McDonald's. And yes, we got ice cream at 10am. That is what happens after 4 hours of sleep and a 5 hour bus ride. But this whole place is gorgeous. I keep having to tell myself that what is outside the window is actually there because my brain keeps telling me it is a computer or movie screen lol.
