My students sure love to draw bats. And hearts with wings. They have also discovered bubble English letters without me introducing them to it. The things you learn. I am amazed at how the semester has flown by. I have two weeks before finals and then I have my much awaited October break. I am still not sure what I am going to do but I am starting to get a rough idea. I have my lesson plans for next week planned out. Scavenger hunts and Minion worksheets. I am an awesome teacher ;)
It has been a quiet week. I have unwound from all the excitement from last week and I have finally managed some consecutive nights of good sleep. This week doesn't look like it is going to be too crazy, thank goodness. I have taken a lot of pictures and have almost hit the 1000 mark, so that is cool. I also have been once again downing books like popcorn. It feels so good to read. In other news, the ants have started to attach the mini fridge, though have yet to find a way inside. The war has begun but I will be the victor. They really do try to attack anything. Curtains are not food, guys. Also, Carlos and Speedy Gonzales have joined the population of lizards in my apartment. They like playing around too much and eating the spiders. Eat the ants guys, sheesh!! And although I know it must be bounds of fun to climb up my wall and/or ceiling and drop down on my bed repeatedly, I would appreciate it if you ate the ants and earned your keep. You're not scaring anyone, so get to work! Because lizards smell better than lavender scented bugspray.
