Well this is not much of any update since nothing too drastic happened but this may be my last blog post for the rest of the week. Hopefully not, but I could be whirling around with tiny Asian children or farang so I might not want to sit down and type.
Yesterday I got my done, which in Thailand is called a makeover and takes about 4 hours. And includes a head/shoulders/neck/face massage. My stylist got a little creative on me, but really knew her stuff. I absolutely adore my new cut. The color looks great except that I think near the roots is a little too light, but I know this will fade and my hair will grow out a little and then it will all be perfect. It feels great to have short hair again and my straightener is seriously awesome because one run-through and it is perfect. I did happen to see that a few hairs were starting to turn the wrong direction and actually said aloud, "Dissent in the ranks!" So this morning I am my own amusement. I think it is going to be a good day.
I teach my classes today without a coteacher or anyone that speaks English.....so my skills are going to be put to the test. Then dinner is at the French place, which I have never been to but people here keep raving about it. And then two of my American farang friends come into town since we leave for English Camp eeeearrrly tomorrow morning.
But yep, that's all I got for now. Got more sleep last night than I have in a while, so I consider myself prepared for all the upcoming crazy. Bring it on!
